Two New Courtyard by Marriott Hotels in Phuket, Thailand

February 16, 2009 by Travel News Editor

Visitors looking for adventure in one of Asia’s most popular vacation hot spots now have a value for money option in the 390-room Courtyard by Marriott Phuket at Patong Beach that features room amenities such as 32” flat screen TVs, luxurious bedding, DVD players and high speed internet. Within walking distance to major shopping outlets and the beach, the hotel offers an ideal location and boasts a rooftop pool where guests can enjoy the idyllic Patong Beach sunset.

The 180-room all-suite Courtyard by Marriott Phuket at Kamala Beach is the ideal getaway for families, offering one, two and three bedroom options, fully equipped with kitchenettes, private balconies and living rooms. The family oriented resort style hotel has six meeting rooms, perfect for parties, family reunions or business retreats.

The heart of both properties is MoMo Café, an all day restaurant that combines local cuisine with western favorites. Besides its mouth-watering menu, Momo Café’s open layout, cheerful staff and comfortable atmosphere makes it a welcoming all purpose area for dining, relaxing and lounging.

Another great value for families is KIDSWORLD, a getaway for children of all ages, available at both locations. Offering an array of toys, activities and entertainment from movie theaters, play station nooks, two story pool slides, table football, and dress up corners, KIDSWORLD allows children to explore and discover their surroundings while parents get the opportunity to enjoy their time relaxing by the pool. The service is free and is operated by certified and trained personnel.

Siam Adventure Club, an online kiosk featuring tours from local operators is also available for guests to book off-site trips and activities at their leisure. The two new Courtyard by Marriott hotels in Phuket provide guests not only with a great destination but also with valuable amenities and services geared towards entertaining and satisfying the needs of the entire family.

In addition to the two new hotels, Courtyard by Marriott’s portfolio in Thailand also includes Courtyard by Marriott Hotel Bangkok, Courtyard by Marriott Phuket at Surin Beach and Courtyard by Marriott Hua Hin at Cha-Am Beach.

Courtyard by Marriott Phuket at Patong Beach and Courtyard by Marriott Phuket at Kamala Beach, along with over 2,800 Marriott-affiliated hotels worldwide, participate in Marriott Rewards, the guest reward program that allows members to earn their choice of points or airline miles for dollar spent during each stay.
