Ambassador Transit Hotel at Singapore Changi Airport is scheduled to rename to Changi Transit Hotel this autumn. The Terminal 3 hotel changes name on October 1, 2026. The Terminal 2 hotel follows on November 3, 2026. Changi confirms that bookings for stays from those dates should be made through Changi Transit Hotel.
The Terminal 1 hotel already operates as Changi Transit Hotel. It opened under that name on June 16, 2026, in the departure transit area near Gate D40. Ambassador Transit Hotel in Terminals 2 and 3 sits on Level 3 of each departure transit lounge: Terminal 3 next to the Movie Theatre, and Terminal 2 near the Sun Flower Garden in the south lounge.
All three hotels are airside. Guests should not clear immigration before their stay. A valid onward boarding pass is required to remain in the transit area. Terminals 1, 2, and 3 are linked airside by Skytrain and other transit connections.
Rooms are sold as short stays for layover passengers. Bookings for the renamed Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 hotels, from each switch date, go through Changi Transit Hotel.
