Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit opened on August 18, 2026, adding 416 guestrooms and 58 suites in Bangkok’s Sukhumvit district. The hotel is Fairmont Hotels & Resorts’ first property in Thailand. Fairmont, part of Accor, opened it in partnership with Asset World Corp Public Company Limited.
Thai architectural and interior design practice PIA designed the hotel around botanical themes. The lobby chandelier is modeled on the golden ratchaphruek, Thailand’s national flower, and is made of 4,166 glass pieces and more than 35,000 crystal balls. Floral motifs continue through artworks and public spaces.
Dining will roll out across seven venues through 2026. Harper’s is a North American-French brasserie open through the day. AELA Social Bar operates as a lounge by day and a cocktail bar after sunset. CAYA Pool Club serves contemporary takes on Thai street food and cocktails in a pool setting.
Wiggle Room, a supper club with a private entrance on Sukhumvit Soi 18, is scheduled to open in mid-September 2026. In December 2026, levels 32 and 33 will add two rooftop restaurants. One will pair Italian and Japanese cooking with Bangkok skyline views, and the other will serve contemporary Thai cuisine. The rooftop is on level 33.
Fairmont Spa takes cues from jasmine. Fairmont Studio has spaces for yoga, cardio, and strength training. The hotel accepts pets weighing up to 30 kilograms and offers a Kids Club program. Fairmont Gold is a separate reception, lounge, and concierge area described as a hotel within the hotel.
Event space totals more than 21,500 square feet, or 2,000 square meters, across three floors. The Signature Grand Ballroom has a 12-meter ceiling and a dedicated arrival forecourt. The hotel also has a second ballroom, seven breakout rooms, Couture Hall, and additional meeting rooms.
