Conrad Nagoya has opened on the upper floors of The Landmark Nagoya Sakae in Naka-ku, Nagoya, in partnership with Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. The hotel is the first Conrad Hotels & Resorts property in Nagoya, the capital of Aichi Prefecture, and has 170 guest rooms.
It occupies the tallest skyscraper in the Sakae business and shopping district. The building is directly connected to Sakae Station.
Guest rooms
The 170 guest rooms include 29 suites. Each room is more than 50 square meters and has floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the Nagoya skyline. The Conrad Suite on the 40th floor is 213 square meters and has a panoramic view of the city. Guest rooms include metal art pieces inspired by the movement of people and light in Sakae.
Facilities
Six restaurants and bars occupy the 31st and 40th floors. SUNDROP is the lobby lounge and bar. CASA OLIVA is an Italian restaurant with a wine list of more than 100 Italian labels. SONGBIRD serves coffee, pastries, and seasonal sweets. On the 40th floor, SORYU is a sushi kaiseki restaurant and SOEN is a teppan kaiseki restaurant. HOUSE OF MON is a rooftop bar.
Conrad Spa has four treatment rooms, an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, and a 24-hour fitness center. Meeting and event space on the 10th and 11th floors includes the Grand Ballroom, which is 342 square meters with an 8-meter ceiling. The Akari rooms can be divided into four. The Conrad 1/3/5 program offers 1-hour, 3-hour, and 5-hour outings, including a tea ceremony, a miso-making workshop, and Arimatsu Shibori, a tie-dyeing craft with a 400-year history.
