Cathay Pacific and Dragonair Launch Special ‘Buy 3, Get 1 Free’ Package to Hong Kong Disneyland

April 2, 2007 by Travel News Editor

Cathay PacificOverseas guests now have even more reasons to visit Hong Kong following the launch of a new “Buy 3, Get 1 Free” travel package to stay and play at Hong Kong Disneyland by Cathay Pacific and Dragonair. The package is available to travellers in a number of major Asian destinations served by the two Hong Kong airlines from today until 30 June 2007.

The special promotion allows visitors travelling in parties of four, who fly with Cathay Pacific or Dragonair from many of the airlines’ Chinese Mainland and Asian destinations and stay at one of the two Hong Kong Disneyland hotels, to receive the fourth person’s package free.

The “Buy 3 Get 1 Free” travel package includes:

— Four Cathay Pacific Airways/Dragonair Economy Class return tickets
between one of the above destinations and Hong Kong;
— Four Hong Kong Disneyland Park tickets;
— One Garden View room for one night at either the Hong Kong Disneyland
Hotel or Disney’s Hollywood Hotel.

Hong Kong Disneyland Park tickets in this package will be automatically upgraded to “Stay and Play for 2 Days” tickets, allowing guests to visit the Park on two consecutive days during their stay at either of the two
Disney hotels. The package also offers hotel guests an early check-in at 11am on the day of arrival and a late checkout at 4pm on the day of departure. Also included are four Disney Magical “FASTPASS”, valid for one of the Park’s three most popular attractions: the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster, Space Mountain and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort’s Vice President, Sales and Travel Trade Marketing, Josh D’Amaro said: “We are delighted that Cathay Pacific and Dragonair are offering this special travel package that gives overseas
visitors the chance to make the most of the one-of-a-kind entertainment available at Hong Kong Disneyland, including classic Disney attractions, two Broadway-style shows, Disney-inspired shopping and dining, and the world’s most loveable Disney characters. From March 31 until April 15, 2007, guests can also celebrate a magical Easter and enjoy an array of special Easter activities and menus at the Resort.”

Cathay Pacific’s General Manager Marketing Charlie Stewart-Cox said: “We are very pleased to be able to launch this exciting promotion in conjunction with our partner airline Dragonair featuring Hong Kong Disneyland, one of Hong Kong’s top tourist attractions. As the home carriers of Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific and Dragonair are committed to bring more visitors to this great city, and we believe this great-value promotion will be a big attraction in some of our key markets in Asia.”
