The 325-room five-star Millennium Sukhumvit Bangkok, which will open this October on Asoke Road (Sukhumvit Soi 21), is offering introductory rates for November and December. The special nightly rate per room starts at 4,199 Thai baht (plus taxes and fees), approximately US $140 or Singapore $216. In honor of the opening, the Millennium Resort Patong Phuket has a special introductory rate starting at 4,100Thai baht (plus taxes and fees), or approximately US $136 or Singapore $210 per room per night during October.
The new Millennium Sukhumvit Bangkok, with its distinctive sail-shaped silhouette, features an atrium and concept floors, and is conveniently located in one of Bangkok’s most central areas, near both business and entertainment. The hotel is sited next to the subway and skytrain stations that serve the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Bangkok’s new Suvarnabhumi International Airport can be reached in 30 minutes by car.
Done in a contemporary Thai-themed décor, rooms include an LCD satellite TV, wi-fi internet access, a media hub, proximity key card access, and an electronic safe. Bathrooms have long bathtubs and a separate shower. The Millennium Sukhumvit Bangkok has 102 superior rooms, 153 superior plus rooms, 55 executive club rooms, 14 standard suites, and a presidential suite.
The hotel offers a swimming pool, The Antidote spa and fitness center, and a golf putting green. Japanese, Italian, Spanish Tapas, Indian, Cantonese, and Thai cuisine are served by six restaurants and bars. A business center and multi-story parking garage are also included.
Part of over 1300 square meters (13,993 square feet) of meeting and banquet space, the 500-square meter (5382 square feet) ball room holds 500 people in a theater configuration and 350 when configured for a banquet. Floor to ceiling windows provide natural light.
