A new website has been launched for searching attractions or planning a trip. The unique database allows a user to input the criteria including the driving distance and a full comprehensive list of results will appear. With over a quarter million listings a user is sure to find what they are searching for. The online city guide is currently free for all to use and has primarily focused on the South East. It should feature the rest of the United States by the end of the year.
Along with listings of various tourist attractions and accommodations, the site also features colorful pictures and local historical and current topics that allow a reader research the area.
The system, which is a first of its kind, uses a very complex equation that was interpreted by Dr. Fred Roush who is distinguished in the mathematical world for disproving the Williams Conjecture Theorem. The website, is currently running on a Microsoft™ SQL Server, and also uses IPIX™ Virtual Tours to enhance its thousands of listings with 360 degree panoramic photographs.
